  This morning I checked my mail and low and behold...two separate packages of awesomeness arrived. Number 1. Helvetica - the film I still haven't seen this and I'm stoked to put on my Max Meidinger t-shirt and watch it. Number 2. Valentines from Austin, TX. Miss Miller set me up with some awesome Sour Patch Kids (Easily my favorite non-peanut m&m candy) and a Hannah Montana Valentine (COMPLETE WITH RUB ON TATTOO!!!) and thirdly, a roll of Guava Mexican Candy.   The Day’s Prediction Shorty | (4)

  This morning I woke up and started organizing my room a bit. During the organization I moved several things around, some of those things being my plants. Little did I realize that this would drastically change my morning. After I finished cleaning I reach around and grabbed my bottle of water. Unfortunately this is how I learned to induce vomiting, because the bottle I grabbed was not water but my Miracle-Gro plant food. I wonder what the rest of the day will be like?

  It was announced Friday that Polaroid is abandoning the technology of the instamatic film that birthed their business and enabled it to go beyond polarized sunglasses. The instant film will be available in stores through next year. Will I stock up? Yes. The Polaroid will be missed, I've had a version of polaroid something or other since I was little. As I got older and played with photography more I still get crazy excited when taking a polaroid and always have a few packs stuffed away in drawers for days when i'm feeling especially creative, or for a special ...

  Persepolis Entry | (1)

  Persepolis is easily one of the best movies I have seen in the last year. Leah was right in saying that there were times during the film you forgot you were watching an animation in stead of "real life." It is a small window into the life of an Iranian girl who grew up during one of the most arduous times in the country's history.   I've been following Ray Fenwick on flickr for quite some time and his illustration work always makes me smile. His hand drawn type is equally awesome! Apparently Ray has been busy these past few weeks drawing and letterpress-ing with the nice people at Pantry Press, with his mad illustration and their love of all things letterpress they have created EPIC NOTES.
