  I love the fact that I grew up in Canada, but being a native Texan this never gave me the opportunity to learn more in depth American history other than the here and there social clips that pop culture frequently references. For the past week I've been taking a mini-mester intense course on American history to 1876. Its been interesting, learning about the birth of this nation and what it took to get there.   5 attempts at avoiding the common cold List | (2)

  Drinking lots of water / orange juice Sitting in the Sauna for a prolonged period of time Vitamins. Vitamins. Vitamins. Adequate sleep (8+ hours) Not touching the door knobs in my house. Unfortunately, it still got me, so here I sit, zinc sitting next to my bed and Sea Wolf playing in the background to comfort my ears. I think the plan of action for today is to stick with soup as my meal of choice and never be more than 2 yards from a kleenex box. I'm open to suggestions.

  This past week was reading break, alot happened but I can't say much reading occurred. Some of what happened was Vancouver-ing, photo taking, and embarking on a mini-jaunt down to Seattle to indulge in some coffee snobbery for a day with some good friends.   not shaving gets itchy...but i haven't shaved for about a week now and I still look like a 9th grader trying to show off after gym class fellow blogger Joshua Longbrake just posted a portfolio site where you can pick up some prints of his wonderful photography.
